Head Softball Coach Janitza Vega, Assistant Coach Nancy Ayon, and Softball players Brianna Romo and Stacey Zuniga were presented with the Arizona Diamondbacks Play Ball Fund Grant prior to the first pitch on Friday, July 22nd. The Play Ball Fund is rewarded to any Arizona youth team, league, or organization can apply for up to $1,000 to support player equipment, training for youth players or coaches, assistance with player fees or facility improvement upgrades. Coach Vega applied for the grant in early May to secure funds for the NHS Softball Program as they look to invest in equipment and facility improvements!

Boys Soccer Head Coach Hugo Luna organized the 1st Annual Boys Soccer Reunion Open Match this past weekend, Saturday July 30th. Over 40 Apache Alumni returned to the NHS Campus to participate in the match held at Apache Stadium!
